Entanglement is a sculptural installation of eight ceramic eggs reimagined as subatomic particles in a chaotic cosmos, inspired by the quantum forces that guide migratory birds on their journeys. The eggs are painted with images interpreting the lifecycle and migration histories of four migratory bird species from Newtown Creek, part-time residents of New York whose cross-generational round trips transport genetic memory and stored energy over borders. This project was commissioned by NOoSPHERE Arts Residency Award Grant 2025. This site-specific installation was on view from June 21 through October 27, 2025 at Kingsland Wildflowers Green Roof, Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
